Houthis’ Air Defense Shoots Down Coalition’s CH4 Combat Plane

Houthis’ air defenses shot down on Wednesday a Chinese-made CH4 combat reconnaissance plane belonging to the Saudi Air Force in the airspace of al-Amsheya area between the provinces of Sa’ada and Amran, northern Yemen.

In a brief statement, Sana’a Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yehya Sarie said that the Air Defenses managed in the early morning to down a CH4 Chinese-made surveillance fighter jet belonging to the Saudi-led forces, while carrying out hostile acts over the airspace of al-Amashyah area between the provinces Saada and Amran

The drone was targeted with a surface-to-air missile, which has not been announced to public, according to the statement.
