The Saudi capital witnessed, an international and American movement in an attempt to market a new international plan, regarding the tanker of the floating oil ship off the western coast of Yemen “Safer”.

On the other hand, the US State Department said in a statement that the US envoy to Yemen, Tim Lenderking, joined the efforts of the UN coordinator, Grisley, urging efforts to support the United Nations plan to maintain Safer oil tank.
The United Nations had anticipated these intense meetings by declaring its need for $80 million to fund the new plan to maintain the reservoir, although it was announced earlier that the plan needed only more than $30 million, Britain and Germany had announced their willingness to fund it.
The timing of US-UN movement indicates an attempt to exploit the recent Saudi movement in Yemen, to push for a peace process to get huge cash in the name of Safer maintenance, especially since it came after Saudi Arabia announced the allocation of half a billion dollars, in favor of Oil Derivatives Support Fund this indicates that United States and its envoy are trying to acquire a share of it.
