Within 38 Days, Sana’a Records 3,686 Violations of UN Truce

The Saudi-led coalition forces continued to violate the humanitarian and military truce in Yemen under the auspices of the United Nations, committing 3,686 violations during the past 38 days.

A military source in Sana’a said that the violations during the past 24 hours amounted to 129, including 48 sorties of armed and spying reconnaissance aircraft in the airspace of the provinces of Marib, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, Taiz, Dhalea and Bayda.

The source confirmed that the coalition forces have established new combat fortifications in Mukairas area in Bayda and in Dashma area in Hiran District of Hajjah.

He stated that 56 breaches with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and the army and popular committee sites were monitored in Marib, Saada, Hajjah, Taiz, and Dhalea and the fronts beyond the borders.

The source added that 23 violations with artillery bombardment on the positions of the army and the popular committees were recorded in al-Balaq al-Sharqi in Marib, west of Haradh distriict in Hajjah, al-Barh, Humra, al-Dhabab, and Maqbna aeas in Taiz, Sha’bat Naad in al-Dhahra area in Jawf, and al-Fakhida and al-Mutjarif and south of al-Amud in Wadi Jarah in Jizan.
