UN Remained Silent about Coalition’s Crippling of Flights: Sana’a

Director of Sana’a International Airport, Khaled Al-Shayef, on Tuesday confirmed that the full readiness of Sanaa airport and there are no justifications for delaying flights.

“We have not received any conditions or observations to be made, and the Saudi-led coalition’s continued obstruction of flights is unjustified,” Al-Shayef said in a press statement.

He added that the United Nations and other organizations remained silent about “the Saudi coalition’s obstruction of flights to and from Sana’a airport.”

The UN organizations are not concerned with opening the airport to the Yemeni citizen, because they enjoy the freedom to use the airport and their flights arrive continuously, Al-Shayef explained.

The director of Sana’a Airport revealed the scheduling of flights from Jordan, including 4 flights that will be implemented from tomorrow, Wednesday, until the first of July.

He pointed out that the scheduling and announcement of flights helps alleviate the suffering of travelers and facilitate their bookings.
