Held in Saudi Prisons, 12 Yemeni Fishermen Arrive in Hodeidah

At least 12 Fishermen who have been detained in Saudi prisons for about 45 days arrived at the fishing port in the city of Hodeidah on evening Monday.

Director General of Ports and Fishing Landing Centers, Aziz Al-Atini, explained that possible services have been provided to help them and facilitate their return to their areas of residence.

He condemned the crimes of the Saudi-led coalition against the fishermen on the Yemeni coast and the attacks they are subjected to and the prevention of fishing.

The fishermen explained that they were kidnapped by the Saudi authorities in Yemeni territorial waters and detained on Farasan Island, after confiscating their boats and fishing equipment.
