STC Troops Storm Yemeni Journalists Syndicate in Aden

The UAE-backed “Southern Transitional” militia stormed on Tuesday the headquarters of the Yemeni Journalists Syndicate in the city of Aden.

Press sources stated that elements of the “Security Belt” militia stormed the office of the Yemeni Journalists Syndicate in Al-Tawahi area, closed the office and expelled the employees who refused to leave their headquarters, while gunmen fired in the air to force the journalists to leave the office.

The sources confirmed that the attack on the headquarters of the Yemeni Journalists Union came after the “Transitional” called for the establishment of the “South Journalists Union” with regional names far from the Yemeni identity.

The “Transitional” militia is trying to control the headquarters of the Yemeni Journalists Syndicate and hand it over to the “temporary” union.
