Human Rights Org. Reveals Crimes of Sudanese Forces in Western Yemen

A human rights organization warned from crimes committed by Sudanese forces participating in the coalition forces against minors on the western coast of Yemen.

Mwatana said in a statement issued on Tuesday that it had recorded nine cases of rape in the district of Hayran in the Hajjah province bordering with Saudi Arabia, explaining that among the cases were six minors, along with a woman. While the fate of a minor and another woman who kidnapped is still unknown.

The organization called for the formation of an international criminal mechanism to prosecute the perpetrators of these crimes in Yemen.

The new cases are part of a series of crimes against girls in the areas under the control of the coalition and its loyal factions on the western coast of Yemen, and subject to Sudanese factions and others led by Tariq Saleh.
