US threat to mobilize alliance fronts against Sana’a

The US has renewed its threat to mobilize the government forces loyal to the alliance against Sana’a.

Follow ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

This comes as part of ongoing US efforts to halt the attacks launched by Sana’a forces against ships associated with the Israeli enemy in the Red Sea in support of Gaza and the Palestinian resistance.

US envoy to Yemen, Tim Lenderking, made statements that included direct threats against Sana’a in a press interview.

Lenderking stated in an interview with a Saudi-owned Middle East Institute for Studies that “the longer the duration of Sanaa forces’ attacks, the greater the risk of renewed fighting in Yemen and the disruption of much-needed food and medical supplies in Yemen and Gaza.”

In a statement that appeared “threatening” to observers, he added, “One of the problems we will face is that the longer this continues, the more tempting it becomes for other forces within Yemen to take matters into their own hands.”

Observers interpreted Lenderking’s statements as a US warning to Sana’a before giving the green light to the government loyal to the alliance and its presidential council to escalate in Yemen.
