The US Central Command talks about the Houthis activating new air systems

The US Central Command revealed on Thursday the activation of what they described as “new unmanned aerial systems” by the “Houthis.”

The Central Command stated in a statement that it engaged with unmanned aerial systems “without specifying their type.”

The US forces had previously mentioned new clashes in the Red Sea.

The statement clarified that the engagement took place with four air systems in addition to a cruise missile.

This is the first time that the US forces have mentioned the entry of “air systems,” which they have not yet named, after claiming to deal with drones. The timing indicates the entry of new weapons into the confrontation with the US-UK alliance in the Red and Arabian Seas.
