Euro-Med: Israel prevents the return of the displaced

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor condemned on Monday the targeting by the occupation army of thousands of forcibly displaced Palestinians when they tried to return to their homes in Gaza City and its north, with artillery shells and live bullets.

The Observatory said that “the targeting of the occupation army led to the death of dozens and the fall of a large number of wounded, and forcing the rest to return to their places of displacement and prevent them from returning to their areas of residence in the northern Gaza Strip.”

Euro-Med Monitor stressed that “the occupation continues to implement and entrench the crime of forced displacement against Palestinians, by preventing forcibly displaced civilians, including women and children, from crossing from the center and south of the Gaza Strip and returning to their areas of residence in the northern regions, despite the cessation of hostilities in most of those areas.”
