ZIM Israeli President: We don’t know when the Red Sea crisis will end… Ask the Houthis

Eli Glickman, the CEO of ZIM Israeli, stated that the alternative routes taken by ships to reach Israel have led to the need for an increase in the number of vessels due to ships having to reduce their cargo.

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Glickman said, “If we sail to the eastern Mediterranean, instead of ten ships for this service, we need 15 ships. This means that we not only need more ships but also more containers because containers spend more time at sea.”

Responding to a question about whether rerouting trips around South Africa could continue until 2025, the CEO of the ZIM Israeli company told TradeWinds, “That’s a big question. Don’t ask us; ask the Houthis.”
