A double attack targets a new ship in the Red Sea

The British Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) revealed on Saturday that a ship had been subjected to two extensive attacks, confirming that the attacks caused damage to the vessel.

The UKMTO reported that the attacks targeted a ship in the Red Sea, approximately 64 nautical miles northwest of the Yemeni city of Mokha. The first attack was carried out by a drone, while the second attack was executed by un unmanned boat that exploded near the ship, according to the ship’s captain.

For nearly ten months, the Yemeni forces have been conducting continuous support operations in solidarity with Gaza, imposing a suffocating maritime blockade on “Israeli” navigation and all ships dealing with the ports of occupied Palestinian.
