Mahmoud Basal, a spokesman for the Civil Defense in Gaza, said that “Gaza City has been subjected to unprecedented, violent and intense bombardment since dawn on Saturday, with airstrikes, tank shelling, and indiscriminate drone fire.”
Basal called on the world to intervene “immediately to stop the massacre” the city is experiencing. He emphasized that Palestinian Civil Defense teams are unable to transport the bodies of the victims and the wounded due to the ongoing bombardment.
