Al-Sharabi to Al-Masirah: The Al-Aqsa Flood was an earthquake that toppled the Zionist security doctrine and redefined regional solidarity

Exclusive – Al-Masirah Net:

Military affairs researcher Zakaria Al-Sharabi confirmed that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, which was launched on October 7, 2023, constituted a strategic earthquake that radically changed the rules of the game and toppled the Zionist security doctrine that had for decades represented a cornerstone of the entity’s existence.

In a television interview on the “Files” program on Al-Masirah channel, Al-Sharabi described “Al-Aqsa Flood” as a “radical turning point” whose repercussions are not limited to the Arab-Zionist conflict or the region alone but extend to include the entire world.

He explained that the operation succeeded in shattering the image of the alleged military and moral superiority of the Israeli enemy entity and exposed the fragility of its security structure to the world, emphasizing that “Al-Aqsa Flood” was a pivotal event from its very first moments, as it completely changed the rules of engagement by launching a preemptive attack inside the occupied territories.

He explained that the resistance’s initiative to attack, instead of waiting for the enemy’s action, dismantled all the pillars upon which the Zionist security doctrine was built, foremost among them “early warning,” as the intelligence and prediction systems failed to detect an operation of this scale and complexity.

He pointed out that it defeated the strategy of deterrence, shattered the image of the “invincible army” and its ability to prevent its adversaries from considering attacking it, and also revealed the inability of the Zionist defenses to repel the initial attack and protect its strategic depth.

Al-Sharabi noted that one of the most important strategic repercussions of the Flood was “redefining the concept of solidarity with the Palestinian cause,” and despite the “neglect and complicity of some Arab regimes engaged in the normalization track,” the battle produced, for the first time, “active and supportive fronts” at the regional level.

He compared this transformation to what happened in the 1973 war, where “Egypt and Syria were seeking to liberate their national territories,” whereas now, “fronts have been launched from Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq, with active support from Iran, with the primary aim of supporting Palestine”; which establishes a new phase and a unique model of active Arab and Islamic solidarity with the central cause.

Researcher Al-Sharabi concluded that “Al-Aqsa Flood” was not merely a military operation but rather a strategic event that reshaped consciousness and established new equations in the region, the repercussions of which continue to unfold at all regional and international levels.

From Normalization to Exposure: How Did the Al-Aqsa Flood Break the New Middle East Project?

In a part of the interview, Al-Sharabi indicated that “Al-Aqsa Flood” came at a critical moment, “within a path that was undoubtedly heading towards completely liquidating the Palestinian cause,” confirming that during the preceding period, we observed a quick move towards the normalization process between the Israeli entity and various countries in the region; this effort even extended to proposing concepts such as integrating the Israeli entity into regional frameworks.

He said, “We saw Netanyahu in September 2023, just two weeks before the Flood, presenting a map for what he calls the New Middle East and the economic projects that will extend through trade routes from India through the Gulf region, then to occupied Palestine, connecting to Europe.”

He pointed out that “this entire path and what was being proposed by the Americans, and the shuttle visits of the National Security Advisor in the ‘Biden’ administration, “Jake Sullivan,” and also the Middle East specialist McGurk, and their statements that they were very close to signing a normalization agreement with Saudi Arabia, which would then be a gateway to normalization with the Islamic world.”

Al-Sharabi confirmed that “Al-Aqsa Flood came and exposed those movements, halted the normalization track, and showed countries that the issue of relying on and rushing towards the entity for protection or security guarantees is futile, as this entity is incapable of protecting itself,” without remaining within the absolute American and Western support.

He explained the most important reflections of this flood and its subsequent repercussions on the entity’s status and its image in the world, which has become very bad, noting that the entity not only occupies the historical land of Palestine but also dominates the international system and dominates the governance systems in the West. Consequently, today it is revealed to the peoples of these countries that their regimes prioritize Zionist interests at the expense of the demands and needs of the peoples in Europe and the US of America.

According to researcher Al-Sharabi, this has caused the demands to go beyond the issue of stopping the arming of the Israeli entity and stopping and imposing economic sanctions on it to reach the issue of stopping Zionist interventions in the national political decisions of these countries.
