70Palestinians leave Jerusalem hospitals, returning to the Gaza Strip

Seventy Palestinians, including patients and their companions, left hospitals in occupied East Jerusalem early Monday morning, returning to the Gaza Strip after completing their treatment.

The Anadolu Agency quoted a Palestinian official, who preferred to remain anonymous, as saying: “Seventy people, including patients and their companions, were transported in three buses and three ambulances to Gaza from Al-Makassed and Al-Mutla’ hospitals in East Jerusalem.” The official noted that five of the patients were children.

On Sunday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that it planned to receive a number of patients on Monday who had completed their treatment in East Jerusalem hospitals and had been there before October 7, 2023. This was done in coordination with the World Health Organization.
