Hezbollah targets Merkava tanks in the South and achieves confirmed hits

Lebanon’s Hezbollah announced the execution of two operations targeting three Zionist Merkava tanks in the towns of Al-Qantra and Beit Lev in southern Lebanon, confirming direct hits.

Hezbollah stated in two separate statements that the operations come within the context of defending Lebanon and its people and within the operations of the “Chewed Up Straw” battle, which has been witnessing field escalation since the beginning of last March.

The statement explained that the fighters carried out an operation on Wednesday evening targeting two Merkava tanks near the town square of Al-Qantra using two suicide drones, resulting in confirmed hits.

Another statement indicated the execution of a second operation on the same day, targeting a Merkava tank near the town of Beit Lev using a suicide drone, confirming a direct hit.

The resistance affirms the continuation of its military operations in response to the escalating Israeli aggression and the repeated violations of the truce agreement.
