Two Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire on Saturday evening. One was killed in the Al-Satar Al-Sharqi area of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, while the other was killed by an Israeli drone strike in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip through airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire. The ongoing siege and restrictions on the entry of goods and aid are exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
A local source reported that Israeli military vehicles targeted the eastern areas of Khan Younis, while Israeli gunboats opened fire off the coast of Khan Younis. Israeli artillery also shelled the western areas of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli military vehicles also fired heavily east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, and Israeli forces carried out a demolition operation in the eastern areas of Gaza City.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll from the Israeli war of annihilation in the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,608 martyrs and 172,445 wounded since October 7, 2023.
In the past 48 hours, Gaza Strip hospitals received seven martyrs, including four new deaths and three bodies that were recovered, as well as 26 wounded. The Ministry of Health indicated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 828, and the total number of wounded to 2,342, while 767 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
It also stated that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams are unable to reach them.
