Heart patients in Gaza: A slow death due to the Israeli siege

Amid the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip for over 30 months, heart patients are no longer just facing their illnesses, but also a collapsed healthcare system barely able to keep them alive.

The widespread destruction of medical infrastructure, coupled with a severe shortage of medicines and equipment, has transformed chronic diseases into daily, deadly threats.

Gaza’s hospitals are overflowing with heart patients, while these facilities are struggling to provide even the most basic care.

With vital equipment out of service and essential medicines depleted, the lives of thousands of patients are now hanging by a thread, dependent on emergency medical decisions made less based on competence and more on the scarcity of resources.
