Heavy Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon

Lebanon’s official National News Agency reported on Sunday that Israeli airstrikes targeted southern Lebanon two days after a framework agreement was signed between Lebanon and Israel, brokered by the United States, which is intended to pave the way for an end to the war.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that one person was killed and two others were wounded in Israeli airstrikes targeting areas in southern Lebanon, one day after Lebanon and Israel signed a framework agreement brokered by the United States aimed at paving the way for a lasting peace.

The National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone targeted the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa in the south, before further airstrikes were reported in the area, resulting in at least one death and two injuries.
