The US Fifth Fleet announced today an emergency landing of one of its military helicopters in the waters of the Arabian Sea, a new incident added to the series of incidents that US forces are experiencing in the region.

The Fifth Fleet stated in an official release that “an emergency landing of a military helicopter occurred in the Arabian Sea,” noting that “3 of the 4 crew members were recovered in stable condition.”

It affirmed that “US naval units in the region are currently searching for the missing crew member.”

Regarding the cause of the incident, the Fleet emphasized that “there is no indication that the helicopter’s emergency landing was the result of hostile action, and we are investigating the cause of the incident.”

This incident is added to a series of aerial incidents that US forces have suffered in the region in recent months.
