Two Palestinians were killed and others wounded on Sunday in an Israeli drone strike on the al-Samar area, east of Gaza City in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Civil Defense said in a statement that an Israeli airstrike targeted a group of civilians in front of a water filling station in the al-Samar area, east of Gaza City, resulting in two deaths and several injuries.
A medical source at al-Ma’madani Hospital reported receiving the bodies of two Palestinians and a number of wounded (without specifying the number) as a result of the strike.
In the southern Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were wounded in separate incidents of Israeli army gunfire. A medical source told Anadolu Agency that one Palestinian was wounded when Israeli forces opened fire on tents belonging to displaced people in the al-Mawasi area of Rafah, while another was wounded by Israeli army fire east of Hamad City, north of Khan Younis.
