The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran announced on Sunday that its Aerospace Force had succeeded in destroying the infrastructure and vital military installations of the American “Prince Hassan” Air Base in Jordan, affirming that the targeting came as an immediate response to an American aerial aggression that struck Iran’s southern coasts.
Tehran – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Revolutionary Guard reported that its naval forces had last night thwarted an American attempt to impose an illegal navigational route in the area south of the Strait of Hormuz, by inciting several ships after Washington imposed its will on the Sultanate of Oman’s government.
The statement explained that the American army, compensating for its naval failure, launched an aerial attack targeting several coastal bases and communications towers on Iran’s southern coasts, which was met with a stunning and crushing response from the brave fighters of the Revolutionary Guard’s Aerospace Force.
The statement revealed details of the first phase of the military response, confirming the bombardment of the installations of the American “Prince Hassan” Air Base in Jordan with a number of ballistic missiles, resulting in the complete destruction of the command-and-control center, in addition to the destruction of the MQ-9 drone hangars.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps concluded its statement with a stern warning to the American administration, affirming that “the continuation of the covenant-breaking American aggression will lead to even harsher responses,” stressing full readiness to protect national sovereignty and deter any threats to the region’s security, both maritime and military.
