Tehran – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Public Relations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced today that the second phase of the missile response operation targeted a second ship in the Strait of Hormuz, in addition to the Al-Udeid base in Qatar.
The Revolutionary Guard stated in an official statement that “in response to the continued violations of the child-killing American army against the coastal bases of the Iranian armed forces, in addition to damaging and disabling the second ship involved in violating the rules in the Strait of Hormuz, the second phase of the missile response operation targeted an American strategic air base in Al-Udeid, Qatar, and the aircraft maintenance and repair center and the command center at this base were destroyed.”
The statement warned that “the American and Zionist enemy must know that the continuation of their violations will lead to even harsher responses.”
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) had earlier reported that it “received a report of an incident occurring 9 nautical miles east of Oman.”
It added that “a container ship sustained damage to its rear section east of Oman following an attack that caused a fire on board.”
It indicated that “the crew of the ship attacked off the coast of Oman left it on a lifeboat.”
This development comes after a series of coordinated Iranian attacks involving both the army and the Revolutionary Guard, targeting American bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, and Qatar.
