Continued violations by the occupation in Gaza

Seven Palestinian police officers, including the director of the Jabalia Camp Police Station, Colonel Mohammad Marwan Salem, were martyred, and several others were injured today as a result of an attack carried out by Israeli warplanes targeting a police point in Khan Market in the Al-Falouja area, west of Jabalia Camp, in northern Gaza Strip. The Israeli warplanes struck the police point, resulting in the martyrdom of seven police officers and injury to several others, in addition to the martyrdom of two more civilians, in another attack on civilian institutions in the northern Gaza Strip.

In a press statement, the Ministry of Interior and National Security mourned Colonel Mohammad Marwan Salem and a number of police officers and personnel who were martyred due to the bombing, confirming that the Zionist enemy continues to target law enforcement agencies and civil institutions in the Gaza Strip. The ministry added that targeting civil police personnel is part of the Zionist enemy’s policy aimed at undermining civil institutions, despite the role they play in maintaining security and providing services to citizens.
