Yemeni forces control the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait by land and sea

Yemeni forces tightened their grip on Monday over the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, one of the most important maritime passages in the Middle East. This coincides with the announcement of the Saudi navigation ban.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Units from Sana’a forces have taken positions near Zuqar Island, which is about 150 kilometers from the center of Bab Al-Mandeb and about 32 kilometers from the first point on Yemen’s western coast.

Factions loyal to the UAE stationed on the island spoke of monitoring the positioning of those they described as the “Houthis” near the island, indicating that Sana’a forces have effectively completed their naval positioning near the strait.

The talk by those factions about the deployment of Sana’a forces near Bab Al-Mandeb coincided with reports by Saudi-funded media that the Yemeni forces have also completed the process of deploying missiles and drones along the mountains bordering Bab Al-Mandeb, confirming that the Yemeni forces have finished their arrangements to impose the Saudi navigation ban, paving the way for a wide-scale battle there.
