This has disrupted operations, reduced the ability to provide even the simplest treatment interventions, and transformed treatable conditions into cases that threaten permanent blindness.
With the continued repercussions of the war and the damage to hospital infrastructure, patients, including children and those with chronic illnesses, face critical delays in receiving necessary treatment, while thousands of cases pile up on waiting lists, and the chances of saving their sight diminish day by day.
