New targeting of Saudi oil facilities

Saudi Arabia was subjected to a new attack on Monday targeting its most important oil facilities.

This comes as fires continue to rage in the west.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Saudi Arabia acknowledged that oil facilities in the eastern region were subjected to drone attacks.

The Ministry of Defense claimed to have intercepted some of them, while it did not specify the targets of the others.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs had issued a hasty statement confirming that oil facilities in the east were targeted.

The statement claimed that the drones were launched from Iraq.

Saudi Arabia maintains numerous oil facilities in the eastern region, specifically in Dammam.

The new attacks come as Saudi Arabia is still struggling to contain fires that have been burning for 3 days, after Yemeni forces bombed oil facilities in the western region, specifically Jizan and Yanbu.

The Iraqi resistance played a prominent role during the Saudi war in supporting Yemen within the Axis strategy.

The timing of the attack indicates that Saudi Arabia has become caught between the pincers of Yemen and Iraq.
