Lebanese Health Ministry: Death toll from Israeli attacks rises to over 4,000

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression against Lebanon has risen to 4,333, with 12,250 wounded, since the beginning of the escalation, as airstrikes and attacks targeting various parts of the country continue.

In a statement, the Ministry of Health explained that ambulance and civil defense teams are continuing their operations in the affected areas, simultaneously transporting the wounded to hospitals and providing medical care, amidst significant pressure on the healthcare system due to the increasing number of casualties.

Health authorities confirmed that the figures are likely to rise as search and rescue operations continue in several bombed sites, noting that many of the wounded are still receiving treatment, including some in critical condition.

This increase in the death toll coincides with continued security tensions on the southern border, amid ongoing international calls to halt the escalation, protect civilians, and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid and relief to the affected areas.
