Sana’a announces the imposition of a new phase of the naval blockade on Saudi Arabia

The Yemeni Armed Forces in Sana’a have revealed the inauguration of a new phase of the naval blockade on Saudi navigation, announcing the targeting of an oil tanker in the northern Red Sea for the first time, after operations in recent days were confined to the southern direction.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The official spokesman for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, explained that expanding the scope of attacks towards the north came after the successful imposition of the naval blockade on the Saudi enemy from the direction of Bab Al-Mandeb, forcing it to redirect its maritime movements. He affirmed the continuation and escalation of operations to close all passages and consolidate the “siege-for-siege” equation.

The statement reported that the total of operations since the announcement of the naval blockade on July 22 has reached the targeting of 8 Saudi oil tankers, in addition to preventing and forcing 29 other ships to retreat and turn back in the Red and Arabian Seas.
