Rezaei to Qatari mediation: Implementation of Iran’s conditions before opening Hormuz

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Major General Mohsen Rezaei, conditioned the US’ taking practical measures to implement Tehran’s conditions before Iran takes a step to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, while simultaneously warning Washington of the repercussions of any hostile action against his country.

Rezaei’s stance came during his meeting in Tehran with the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, where the two sides discussed regional developments and the maritime navigation file.

Rezaei stated that any American hostile action against Iran will result in a response that affects the military and economic interests of the US, affirming that those repercussions will remain recorded in history.

For his part, the Qatari official affirmed his country’s continued coordination and cooperation with Iran in light of the sensitive conditions the region is going through.
