Sana’a Foreign Ministry mocks the Saudi statement: The response, destroying the depth, and establishing the “siege-for-siege” equation is a legitimate right

The Sana’a Foreign Ministry mocked the latest statement issued by the Saudi Foreign Ministry, affirming that targeting Saudi mobilizations and consolidating the “siege-for-siege” equation is a legitimate right guaranteed by Article 51 of the UN Charter and all international customs and laws.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The ministry clarified in an official statement that the Saudi regime is the one that declared war and targeted civilian objects with more than 250,000 raids over 12 years, leaving tens of thousands of casualties.

It added that “when Yemen imposed the blockade on Saudi Arabia, it had a clear and legitimate goal, which was to repel the siege imposed on the Yemeni people.”

The statement indicated that Riyadh refused to lean towards peace and instead headed towards escalation and targeting civilians, the latest of which was the massacre of the central prison in Al-Jawf, north-west of Sana’a.

Sana’a’s Foreign Ministry held the Saudi regime fully responsible for pushing the region towards escalation and exacerbating the situation, stressing that any aggression will be met with response and punishment, and that the era of guardianship and subservience to foreign powers has gone forever.
