The Yemeni forces in Sana’a announced that their air defenses had just intercepted two combat formations of Saudi warplanes in the airspace of Sa’ada province, forcing them to flee and retreat before achieving their “aggressive objectives.”

The official spokesman for the Yemeni forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, explained that the air defenses intercepted two combat formations consisting of warplanes of the “F15” and “Typhoon” types, which had “taken off from the enemy’s two air bases in Khamis Mushait and Taif.”
Brigadier General Saree confirmed that the interception operation was carried out using a number of locally made air defense missiles, noting that the missiles forced the combat formations to leave the airspace and return to their bases.
