Yemeni Forces Complete Securing Important Mountain Ranges Between Taiz and Lahj

Yemeni forces completed on Sunday the control of the last important mountain ranges between Taiz and Lahj governorates.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Activists circulated images of Sana’a forces taking control of the Rasn mountain range in the southwestern Taiz countryside, overlooking the city of Al-Shamaytain, the center of Al-Turbah, and the Taiz-Aden road.

This mountain is added to a mountain range extending from Kahbub to Namam in Lahj, all of which the coalition-loyal factions have acknowledged falling into Sana’a’s hands.

The area had witnessed confrontations following Sana’a forces’ control of the entire western coast, including Tareq Saleh’s strongholds.

The aforementioned mountains secure positions overlooking the most important maritime passages in the Red Sea and the western coast of Yemen, reaching the western end of the Gulf of Aden.
