Reports of a Wide-Scale Operation Targeting Saudi Mobilizations… What Are the Details?

Media sources on Monday circulated reports about the Sana’a forces carrying out a wide-scale military operation with missiles and drones, targeting Saudi military mobilizations in the south of the Kingdom.

The sources reported that the bombardment targeted sensitive military sites in the Najran and Jizan areas, including the General Command of the Emergency Forces in Najran, the Fourth Emergency Division in the same area, in addition to the Sixth Emergency Division in Jizan, and a number of Saudi camps in the two areas.

As of the moment of writing the news, no official announcement has been issued confirming the details of the circulated operation.

This news comes days after the Sana’a forces announced, last Wednesday, the carrying out of a preemptive military operation they described as qualitative and wide-scale, using dozens of ballistic missiles and drones, targeting Saudi military mobilizations in the Al-Tuwal area of Jizan, affiliated with the so-called Sixth Emergency Division.

According to the Sana’a forces’ statement, the operation included targeting operations rooms, command and control, weapon depots, and other important military sites affiliated with the Saudi mobilizations in the Al-Tuwal area, in addition to targeting missile launch sites and platforms in Al-Dagharir Camp in the Jizan area, and a number of Saudi camps in the area.

The statement affirmed that the strikes achieved precise and direct hits, and resulted in the killing and wounding of hundreds of the Saudi mobilizations, of Yemenis and Sudanese, along with dozens of members and officers of the Saudi forces, in addition to the destruction and burning of a number of weapon depots.
