Saudi Dead and Unknown Fate for Al-Mahrami… Details of the Operation Targeting the Coalition Headquarters in Aden

Field sources revealed new details about the military operation carried out by the Sana’a forces against the Saudi coalition headquarters in Al-Buraiqah in the city of Aden, at dawn today, using a group of ballistic missiles and drones.

Exclusive — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Activists and residents of the city of Aden circulated video clips on social media platforms showing the rise of fire and the sounds of explosions at the coalition headquarters in Al-Buraiqah, which were heard more than ten separate times, while some of them described those strikes as unprecedented.

They also circulated other clips showing the moment a number of Saudi armored vehicles and machinery and the Riyadh-backed southern forces left their headquarters and camps in the city of Aden, for fear of any new targeting.

The field sources explained that the operation, which was carried out with a large number of drones and ballistic missiles, targeted the coalition headquarters at the moment a high-level military meeting was being held that included Saudi officers and the Vice President of the Presidential Council, Abdulrahman Al-Mahrami “Abu Zaraa,” the commander of the faction of the so-called “Giants” forces.

The Fate of Al-Mahrami and the Saudi Forces

The sources affirmed that the strikes resulted in the killing of a number of Saudi officers and soldiers, in addition to the burning of weapons depots and a large number of machinery and vehicles.

They noted that the bodies and wounded of the Saudi army were transferred by dedicated helicopters, while the fate of Al-Mahrami, which is shrouded in mystery, hasn’t been known until this moment.

The Sana’a forces’ operation came a few hours after Saudi Arabia carried out airstrikes on the capital Sana’a, and amid a state of escalation between the two sides on several fronts.
