13 people killed in Israeli strikes on Ain al-Hilweh camp in southern Lebanon

A large number of people were killed and injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a car in the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp near Sidon, the capital of southern Lebanon, on Tuesday evening.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the death toll reached 13, with others injured. It added in a statement that ambulances are still transporting more injured people to nearby hospitals.

Al-Watania News reported that an Israeli drone targeted a car near the Khalid ibn al-Walid Mosque inside the camp, causing fires at the site, and that drones were flying at low altitude following the strike.

She added that the bombing later also targeted the Khalid ibn al-Walid Center and the Khalid ibn al-Walid Mosque in the camp, with three rockets.
