Sana’a Foreign Ministry: Saudi Arabia’s Continuation of the Aggression on Yemen and the Violation of Its Sovereignty Obligates Dealing in Kind

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Sana’a government said on Saturday that Saudi Arabia’s continuation of violating Yemen’s sovereignty and airspace and targeting the capital Sana’a and other governorates obligates its forces to deal in kind, and affirms the necessity of continuing “the battle of freedom and independence and lifting the siege.”

Sana’a’s Foreign Ministry affirmed in a statement that “these criminal acts drown the Saudi regime even more in the swamp of its crimes,” noting that “it will not be able to achieve its diabolical objectives in Yemen no matter how far it goes in escalation.”

Sana’a’s Foreign Ministry called on the international community and the active regional countries to pressure Saudi Arabia to stop “its crimes against the Yemeni people.”

It stressed that the continuation of what it described as violations against Yemen affirms the necessity of continuing “the battle of freedom and independence and lifting the siege.”

Saudi Arabia today launched about 26 airstrikes on scattered areas in the capital Sana’a, while the number of victims of its latest escalation has reached 72 martyrs and more than 125 wounded, among civilians, according to official reports.
