The Giants Factions Reveal the “Houthis'” Control Over the First Coastal Districts of Lahj

The southern Giants factions revealed on Tuesday the details of the confrontations in Lahj, adjacent to Taiz.

This comes following the marketing by the Aden government of claims of its incursion in Dhubab at the southern end of the western coast.

Exclusive — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The Giants affirmed in statements of theirs that they are waging, alongside “Dira Al-Watan,” confrontations they described as violent in the “Al-Mansoura” area, administratively affiliated with the districts of Al-Mudaribah and Ras Al-Arah at the western end of the Lahj coast.

It has not yet become clear whether the Sana’a forces have launched a counter-attack on those factions that Saudi Arabia was mobilizing to escalate south of the western coast, or whether Sana’a has completed its control over the areas south of southern-western Taiz and begun an incursion.

The announcement by the Giants of the transition of the confrontations to the coastal districts of Lahj reveals the coalition’s claims of achieving progress in Dhubab and affirms that it has received painful counter-strikes that portend its loss of its last strongholds in southern Yemen.
