The Saudi “Al-Arabiya” channel published on Sunday a video clip that it claimed was filmed in the strategic Kahbub Mountains in Al-Mudaribah in Lahj, and claimed that the area is still under the control of the Saudi-affiliated “Dira Al-Watan” forces.
Exclusive Follow-ups — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The military expert, Ali Al-Nasi, refuted in a post on “Facebook” the claim of the “Al-Arabiya” channel, noting that after “examination and verification using aerial map applications, it appears that the filming location of the video is located to the southwest of the Kahbub Mountains, at a distance of more than 9 kilometers from them.”
Al-Nasi published specific coordinates for the filming location of the video broadcast by Al-Arabiya, and the place is located at: (12°54’23.99″N 43°38’14.25″E).
This comes about two days after the Sana’a forces imposed their control over the strategic Kahbub mountain range, which is considered the protector of the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, following weeks of fighting with the Saudi mobilizations that were defeated and withdrew toward the Ras Al-Arah areas.
