Human Rights in Sana’a Condemns Saudi Arabia’s Targeting of Al-Jund Area in Taiz

The National Human Rights Commission in Sana’a condemned on Monday the targeting by Saudi aviation of the Al-Jund area in Al-Ta’iziyah District in Taiz Governorate, which resulted in the wounding of a young girl and a girl with serious injuries.

Exclusive Follow-ups — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The Commission considered, in a statement, that targeting civilians, especially children and women, is a war crime and a violation of international covenants, holding Saudi Arabia, the United States, and the forces allied with them responsible for the attack.

It also accused the United Nations of silence toward the continuation of these attacks, demanding the documentation and condemnation of the crime, and the provision of international protection for civilians in Taiz and the rest of the Yemeni governorates.
