The head of the National Security Committee in the Iranian Parliament, Ibrahim Azizi, warned on Saturday that any targeting of his country’s security and interests will be met with a response that makes the occupied territories uninhabitable within less than an hour.

Azizi’s threat came in conjunction with the escalation of tension between his country and the Israeli occupation entity, against the backdrop of the latter’s hinting at launching a comprehensive attack on Iran with American participation.

The spokesman for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Brigadier General Hussein Mohbi, had warned that targeting the Iranian energy facilities will be met with a response that turns the occupied territories into a burnt land.
