Israeli enemy forces detain Palestinians in Jenin

Israeli occupation forces detained several Palestinian citizens on Sunday at a military checkpoint they erected in the al-Qata’a area, near the settlement of No’a, built on land belonging to the villages of Masliya and Qabatiya, southeast of Jenin. They also raided the town of Attil, north of Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources told the Palestinian news agency WAFA that Israeli soldiers stopped and detained the citizens in southeast Jenin, subjecting them to searches and harassment. The soldiers confiscated and searched their mobile phones, reviewing photos and their contents, in an arbitrary act against the citizens.

In a related incident, local sources reported that several Israeli military vehicles patrolled the streets and neighborhoods of Attil, north of Tulkarm, obstructing the movement of vehicles and pedestrians, while firing stun grenades. No injuries or arrests were reported.
