The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) announced on Thursday the killing of seven Palestinians, including a child, and the wounding of others, as a result of a series of attacks and shootings carried out by Israeli forces in various areas of the Gaza Strip between November 2 and 5. The center also reported the arrest of a Palestinian man as he returned to Gaza through the Rafah border crossing, despite having obtained the necessary permits to return.
In a post on its website, the PCHR stated that two of the dead succumbed to wounds sustained in previous attacks. The center noted that the wounded, including children, suffered varying degrees of injury, amidst the ongoing targeting of displaced persons’ tents and residential areas.
The center reported that an Israeli drone fired two missiles at a tent near the Mushtaha Tower, southwest of the Nuseirat refugee camp, early Thursday morning. This attack resulted in the death of Abdul Rahim Walid Ibrahim Matar, 26, and left another Palestinian with moderate to serious injuries.
The center added that the Israeli drone strike on the tent was targeting the area. He added that a drone targeted a tent sheltering displaced people near the eastern wall of the municipal park on Omar al-Mukhtar Street in Gaza City last Tuesday, killing 16-year-old Rimas Ismail Riyad al-Madhoun and injuring five others, one critically.
He also noted that another drone targeted a tent inside the campus of the University College of Applied Sciences in the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis with two missiles on the same day, killing 44-year-old Khaled Ibrahim Muhammad Shallouf and injuring several others, including a child.
