Sana’a Forces Will Cease Operations Once War, Siege End

A member of the Anssarallah movement’s political council, Muhammad al-Bukhaiti dismissed the G7 statement on Yemen that condemned the Yemeni army and the popular committees while closing their eyes on the Saudi-led crimes against the people of Yemen as hypocrisy.

Al-Bukhaiti wrote on Twitter that “The action of the G7 countries in condemning the Yemeni attacks on Saudi Arabia and the operation to liberate Marib, while ignoring the (aggression), blockade and occupation, shows international hypocrisy and double standards.”

The Houthi official said that “We will continue the attacks deep inside Saudi Arabia and the liberation of Yemen.”

Moreover, the Ministry of Defense of Sana’a National Salvation Government had previously announced that Sana’a forces and popular committees (Houthis’ fighters) were in full control over the Al-Balq Mountains which overlook the Marib Dam in the north and the Al-Talaa Al-Hamra area in the south in Sarwah, to Marib’s west.

Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, has already cast doubt on recent remarks by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman that he plans to find a political solution to the Yemeni conflict, emphasizing that actions and words should always agree with each other if the Saudi-led coalition is serious about peace.

“We are taking heed of such remarks. There is no dispute among the Yemenis, but rather with the US-British-Saudi-Emirati coalition of (aggression) and their allies. We, therefore, hope the countries that are besieging [Yemen] and spearheading the onslaught will recognize the importance of parties with which meeting can bring peace to Yemeni people. If they are serious about peace, it will be achieved,” Houthi tweeted recently.

Bin Salman, in a television interview broadcast by the Middle East Broadcasting Center on Tuesday, urged Yemen’s popular Anssarallah movement to “sit at the negotiating table” to find solutions that could “assure the rights of the people of Yemen and also the interests of the region”.

He asserted that the kingdom would not oppose the presence of Anssarallah at the negotiating table
