Targeting of Salif Port Threatens Aid Entry: UNMHA

The UN Mission to Support the Hodeidah Agreement (UNMHA) considered the recent air attacks carried out by the Saudi-led coalition on Salif port last Saturday “a violation of the Sweden agreement.”

The UN mission said, in a tweet on its account on “Twitter”, that these strikes threaten the vital point of aid entry in Yemen, calling on the parties to the conflict to exercise restraint following the attacks launched by the coalition on the Salif port.

The mission indicated that it is making great efforts to access the site of the strike to enable a direct assessment of it.

UNMHA had condemned similar attacks carried out by the coalition aircraft on the Yemeni port of Salif last March.
