Sana’a Mourns Scholar Al-Amrani in Solemn Funeral Procession

Thousands of mourners attended on Monday in the capital Sanaa the funeral of the body of the deceased scholar Mohammed bin Ismail Al-Amrani, who passed away at the age of 100 years after a life full of giving in religious sciences and fatwas.

During the funeral ceremony, which was attended by Member of the Supreme Political Council Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi, Head of the Supreme Judicial Council Judge Ahmed Yahya Al-Mutawakel, the Mufti of Yemen scholar Shams Al-Din bin Sharaf Al-Din, a number of the state leaders, scholars, and members of the Parliament and the Shura Council, the mourners expressed their deep sorrow for the passing away of one of the scholars of Yemen and the Islamic nation.

They affirmed that Yemen and the nation lost by the death of Al-Amrani, one of the scholars who spent their lives in educating generations, teaching, preaching, guidance and fatwas.
