Two Civilians Killed, 11 Injured Due to Coalition Violence in Hodeidah, Saada

At least one citizen was killed and eight others were injured on Friday by Saudi enemy’s fire in Saada province, a security official said.

The official explained that the Saudi army targeted citizens in the border area of al-​​Raqaw in Monabbih district with machine guns, killing one citizen and injuring eight others.

Saada’s border districts are daily subjected to constant rocketry and artillery bombing, causing casualties and large damage to citizens’ homes and property.

In Hodeidah, A civilian was killed and three others were wounded on Saturday as a result of the explosion of a bomb left by the Saudi-led coalition in Al-Maslab area in Al-Tuhita district.

This comes less than 24 hours after the 13-year-old boy, Nasser Shawish Nasir Makhda’, was injured by the explosion of a cluster bomb left over from the coalition air raids in Saada province, northern Yemen.

According to an official source in the National Mine Action Program, the child Makhda’ was hit by shrapnel from the cluster bomb blast while grazing sheep in Hidan district, which led to the amputation of one of his fingers.

The source added that the child was wounded by several shrapnel throughout his body.

During the past two days, three shepherds were injured in the same district by shrapnel of the coalition cluster bombs.
