Sana’a Accuses United Nations of Participating in War on Yemen

A spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Sana’a revealed on Saturday the involvement of the United Nations as a partner of the Saudi-led coalition in imposing the siege on the Yemeni people.

Dr. Anis Al-Asbahi, said in a statement, the United Nations is an accomplice in the crime committed by coalition forces against the Yemenis.

“We do not count on the international organizations much, as they have witnessed the catastrophic situation for seven years, and we have not seen any responsible move from them,” he added.

Al-Asbahi called on international organizations to play their humanitarian role and put pressure on the coalition countries to neutralize the humanitarian file and introduce oil derivatives.

He also called for the opening of Sanaa airport and Hodeida port to allow the entry of medical equipment, in addition, dozens of sick cases need to receive treatment abroad Yemen.

The spokesman pointed out that the health sector needs more than 6 million liters of diesel to operate hospitals, oxygen factories, and others.

The Minister of Health has contacted international organizations to brief them on the catastrophic medical situation in Yemen, Al-Asbahi added.
