Angelina Jolie to Visit Yemen Soon

Foreign Minister, Hisham Sharaf, said on Saturday that the global personality, Angelina Jolie, will visit Sana’a soon, as UN Goodwill Ambassador.

 Hisham Sharaf, while his meeting with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)’s Resident Representative, Maya Ameratunga, that Jolie’s visit would contribute to drawing the world’s attention to the ongoing war and siege against the Yemeni people. As well as the refugees who have applied for protection and support in Yemen, according to Saba Agency.

He pointed out that there are countries, lobby and interest groups in the arms industry in the West who are working to keep what he called the “aggressive war” and the aggravation of the humanitarian situation in Yemen in the category of a forgotten war.
