Car bombs were planted in Yemen’s southern Port City of Aden, which is under the UAE-backed Interim Council (STC)’s control, an Emirati television channel said, YPA reported on Thursday.
Akhbar Al Aan TV quoted intelligence sources, saying that 10 car bombs were planted in Aden during past three days.
Operations were still under way to find out the location of the car bombs.
However, “observers” seen the UAE announcement as a prelude to the liquidation of southern leaders loyal to Hadi government and Tariq Afash.
